Will take a break from Apex again
My friends and I will take a break from Apex again (we usually take 1-2 week break before the new season starts) not because the game isn’t fun anymore but we reached plat already and would let the masters climb up to their ranks before grinding to diamond. I’ll still be in the forums though for better or worse.
Takeaways:
- I guess I’m one of the few people here but I actually am enjoying rank so much right now. While KC is still 3rd party legends, it is greatly improved especially with the removal of some of the jump towers and the better loot making things much easier. However, the faster ring actually promotes 3rd partying especially at the edges of the next ring. KC is now off the hate list when it comes to the maps (SP add more tunnels or jump towers please).
- Fragment and Skulltown is not the only cause of hotdropping since there are only 2 max squads who drop in Relic in rank. Removing fragment won’t solve the hotdrop issue. I’m still suggesting to have more than 2 drop ships for pubs.
- The guns feel great and I don’t have any complaints other than L-Star needs a buff. That gun stinks right now. People are also using the G7 more rather than the wingman.
- I main Gibby but I’m switching to other legends from time to time like Caustic or Newcastle (yes all the thicc bois). As much as I would want to love Caustic, either he sucks right now or I do. I think it’s more on my end. I will gladly appreciate some Caustic tips. NC though is now a good alternative to Gibby. I can utilize his tactical effectively after 2 years of Gibby bubbles. The ult came in clutch for multiple end circles.
- We only play 2-3 pub games per day just to finish the daily challenges so I don’t have much of an opinion on the state of pubs. But most of the time, pubs is sweatier than than rank and you would have this 3 stack masters/preds killing the whole lobby.
-I don’t have any opinions on how good Vantage is because I don’t have freakin legend tokens since leveling up doesn’t give you rewards. LOL. All I’m gonna say is that she’ll be less annoying once people use her less and go back to their usual legend picks.
- Taking a 1-2 week break from Apex again and would only play single player games most of the time. I’m loving this season so far and I hope most of you do as well. If you’re not enjoying Apex, I hope you’re enjoying other games or other hobbies.
