Will there ever be visual sound indicators?

I've been killed 15+ times this week from a player running up on my left hand side, mostly where there's not much other sound in terms of frags or gunfire.

Obviously game awareness is a factor of course, but in close quarters peaking, it's a massive hindrance. I can't tell if someone is running the other side of the crate/building/door. I have to 360 to check if I can hear guns anywhere https://omegle.onl/  https://xender.vip/ .

I'm pretty sure I've been reported in ranked games by teammates on 2 or 3 occasions over it. I've been playing for 14 seasons, it's implemented in so many other games.

I know a lot of people think the sound it's just bad in general in the game, but it's usually just bad awareness on my part when I get beamed from the right.

  • I would also love this feature... Fortnite has done a great job with it. It can be done. Why Respawn hasn't implemented it knowing dam well Apex Legends is known for probably the worst audio for a BR ever made!!!

Yep, today in ranked I had a bloodhound creep up on the rear left with no sound, I'm on xbox 1S. Fortnite's visual indicators are really good, but can still have the occasional blip (whether it's a cheat or not, idk.)

There is a potential workaround to help improve footstep sounds on pc, outlined in the first post in the below thread: (also on xbox 1S with DTS settings and ps5 with headphones and there are other suggestions in the thread)

It is by no means a panace, but you may find somthing that helps improve your situation, but it does require the sacrificing of some if the games aural landscape.
