Not only that, like I said earlier in Apex games there is lot more * going on.
Even if you compare it to Fortnite, in fortnite you can barely walk while shielding or healing,
In apex you can * slide while jumping off a 12km skyscraper and still be healing.
Another thing CoD is from Activision, which is a different company.
And speaking of company, death replay wouldn't bring much income.
And free to play games usually reconcider before spending time, effort and money on things that don't give them barely anything in return.
@damsonwhufndthisYou're also forgetting this "free to play" has made billions of dollars. Not like they don't have the money to implement & make improvements.
And I know COD is made by a different company. But they also helped make COD before splitting off & making their own company so it's not like they don't know how to do it.

certainly making billions means instantly spending every signle penny available is the most optimal and inteligent thing you could do
it's not like you need to pay rent, food, energy, people's paychecks, engineers, designers, artists, lore makers, servers, etc.
Replay would add both expenses, teams, unique ui, settings, and the most importantly the servers
And I don't know man I see everyone complaining about servers at least once.
