Year 1 Anniversary Badge Curiosity

I'm just curious how many people on here have the "Year 1 Anniversary III" badge, which is for playing within the first week of release. I have the "Year 1 Anniversary II" badge, for playing within the first month (I believe I started in week 2 or 3), but I am wondering how many people on here have the "III" badge

  • I have it (my friends got me to install the game at launch)

I had only played Quake Champions as FPS before so I was kind of new, but all of us got it, but I almost never display it because I don't want people to think I'm good at the game because I have played it for so long 😃

I also don't display damage badges for the same reason, because if I show my 3K damage badge on Ash, people will think I bought it If i play badly that match

But if I get 4k 20Kill badge squad mates, I don't expect free carry, so maybe other people think the same about me, maybe

i'm gonna equip some cool badges and see what happens

@Rain5832 I completely understand that! I usually only display my black hole badge from the Horizon event, and no other badges/trackers. For me, it's just a silly "joke" that the black hole gobbled up all my badges and trackers, Lol! I am actually quite good at the game when I am in my groove and am playing regularly, but I don't want people to just assume that I'm going to have a good match, every match, because that is most certainly not the case.

I'm with you on the random team mates and their badges... I get tons of 4k badge randoms, that don't seem to really understand how to play the game. I always just assume they got the badge via nefarious means

I think my highest damage is still my 2.5k with Valk, so props on the 3k!

Yup, nope. I'm also a first monther, not a first weeker.

Agreed 100% about displaying badges. I think they say one thing, everyone else thinks they say something else, and whatever they may mean, they definitely set up unrealistic expectations.
