Apex is * now, Too many rats ratting for LP and not playing the game, LP has to be the stupidest god damn idea, It's basically unplayable.

I feel like Im reading an argument between the far left and far right. This thread has become a good example of why the game needs a balanced system.People that want to kill should be able to and still get points. People that want to camp should be able to. At some point though, each extreme needs to merge to get to the highest level of the game. A person who is gifted at killing needs to figure out rotation and map usage. I person who knows how to rotate without seeing people will need to actually shoot properly.ALGS scoring does the above. I still do not get why ranked isn't like it. An edge team can go for 6 to 10 kills with decent placement and be positive. A rotation team can play for end game with only a few kills and be positive. Neither though is the best way.

@blackeyeriverWhatever helps you sleep at night bro.I'm not going to continue a discussion with someone who only picks and chooses what parts of the conversation he wishes to listen to.I can't tell you any more than i could tell reconzero how to go about playing your game.What I can say is that the solution is not that they shouldn't be allowed to play that way, but that the system needs to be fixed so it can't be taken advantage of.

@Fr0styJKI'm on record as having said many times that if ranks were run by me you would get points for win and none for a loss. Period. Second place with 10 kills = ZERO. I'm tired of a game with a finish line handing out rewards to people who don't finish.

@reconzero That would be ridiculous... what other game or competition gives 0 for a 2nd place. Even ALGS rewards 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and rewards every kill and assist.We play for entertainment right? Not to be bored to death. Rank is a way for us to have objectives and a motive to play. If it's a game of wait and hide we wouldnt even play it be it serious or not.Rank is there to encourage us to play... not to prove we have the ability to hide.It's called Battle royale not Hiding royale... there is no point in even having guns and shield if the whole point is to survive. Make it a melee royale.The whole point of Battle Royale was to battle your way to the top not to hide your way to the top.

So you approve not receiving any bonus whatsoever from kills and only from placement? I was just kill leader, got placed 9th place, got 25 pts total (0 bonus). Does this sound fair to you?

What they have done is to give satisfaction to low skill level people.... they can all now enjoy the look of the platinum emblem or even diamond for their non participation efforts.....

I saw this kind of gameplay in the patch before and I told my friend, "I hope they remove this odd feature of how kills are valued." well surprise they wanted it like that, kills to be worthless....

but from my point of view , the real one to blame is the streamer who started this trend.
ratting is there since the beginning , no one can tell me that they never ratted for placement when their teammates died.
but to que to a match just to rat this thing wouldn't be a thing if it wasn't for that guy.

streamers boosted this game and streamers are the ones will kill it
