Hopefully they come out with some wicked good-looking skins in the future.
I never spent a dime on it. It's an online only "Game as a Service." I can't actually "own" my purchase. It exists only so long as they decide to keep the servers up. There is no single player content I can do offline should they choose to do so.
Frankly, Apex Packs and the entire concept of loot boxes should be illegal.

My thoughts are, I must not possess the DNA segment which makes one an impulse buyer. Early on last summer, I gave Apex $10 as a thank you for making this game. I used the $10 in game currency to buy the Season 13 Battle Pass. After that season my account held enough credit to get Season 14 but I took the summer off and did a road trip. I returned 3 weeks into Season 15 and used the credit to buy the Season 15 Battle Pass. After finishing it some time ago, I have 1800 credit on my account. If I decide to continue in Season 16, it appears I could just play for free and collect 200 more credit. A lot will depend on several factors; will my friends play next season, what will be offered in the premium on the next Battle Pass, and will the next character be fun to play? I have no desire to showboat skins or flaunt my money. I don't play for others to respect my skill or lack thereof, I am here to pass the time and have fun. I never see anything here worthwhile to purchase. If you enjoy the game and have extra cash, you probably should toss them some filthy lucre.
