Since he can be so powerful when a squad with Crypto coming in as a third party, or when it's a small zone while Wattson + Crypto setting up their fortress.How do you beat him in such conditions? And judging but what we already see in all teasers, I think he's not much of a threat when it's a nose-to-nose battle. But he's marking ability is a serious problem.And since some of you probably have already played him and met him as an enemy, how do you encounter his abilities from your experience?

Hes not that powerful, and he slows the pace of your squad. The drone is fairly easy to see and you cant be a mile away for the nurolink to work. The ult is so so IMO so far, been hit with it by teammates... which i dunno if its a bug? Shoot the drone, and hes pretty much useless.

There only thing that I have noticed is that Crypto players are always lagging behind their squad, so it comes down to 2 people doing most of the fighting until Crypto decides to join and catches up.His abilities are kinda meh. I usually play bloodhound, and I can tell my teammates where most enemies are, and in this game is fairly easy to see and just hear moving and shooting people. So other than EMP that can be pretty nice in certain situations, I feel like this character is probably not that great for an average player. Just my 2c

Not a big deal.You can hear the drone from far away.You only have to spit on it and it explodes, that's fine.It is also fun to grapple it while your mate is controling it.You can boost the grapple pretty good when he is moving it up or forward while grappling.

You place your drone high up, and charge rifle blast his low altitude nooob placement drone.I'm serious.

tips for dealing with his drone's EMP, there's a lot of blue lights coming out from the drone which is roughly 2.5 - 3 secs before the EMP bursts, you can drop your shield before it bursts, it won't damage you but you will still get disabled for a sec or so.

In all seriousness, i tried using crypto with my usual squad and it was a nightmare. Firstly...didnt find a long range weapon in any of the games, even on deathboxes.
Secondly my team mates usually run octane/bloodhound so there was absolutely no legend cohesion and to echo the issue others have voiced i found myself playing catch up every game due to the nature of my squad.
On a positive, setting up your drone correctly can lead to some nice ambush ults, e.g setting the drone up above a doorway in a room and luring enemies in, popping the ult and throwing a couple of arc stars at them, even shield poppers can't defend against this.
Alternatively you can just run sheer interference before third party'ing by using EMP on the stronger squad leaving both sides weakened.
Bottom line is he's a legend for team players..
Head hunters will hate using him or having him on their squad.
