EA Won’t Help Me Recover My Old Account — Please Read...
When Apex came out 6 years ago, I was excited to play it. I was 16 years old and pretty dumb. At the time, I couldn’t create an Origin account with my actual email, so I used a temporary email (yes, I know big mistake).
A few years later, when Origin became EA Games, I tried to log in again. It asked me to verify the account through that old temp email but that email had already been deleted. I even contacted the temp email provider, and they told me those emails only last 2 weeks and can’t be recovered. So now I can't get the verification code or access the account.
I’ve reached out to EA Customer Support multiple times, but the verification questions they ask are nearly impossible to answer after all this time. For example:
"What IP address did you use to play?" (I’ve moved across two countries since then)
"When exactly did you create the account?" (It was 6 years ago I don’t remember the exact day)
"Billing address used?" (I never added one)
Despite these challenges, I still remember the exact email I used and can provide it privately. I also have screenshots of the account and two friends who can confirm it’s mine. I’ve contacted EA support more than 6 times now, but I keep getting the same copy-paste responses.
I even attached screenshots showing my exclusive Octane skin from when I used to play with my friends during Season 7.
I’m not trying to scam or gain anything unfair I just want access to the account I spent a lot of time and effort on.
It’s incredibly disheartening to lose access to something I genuinely cared about because of a simple mistake I made as a teenager. I’m hoping someone here can understand my situation and help.
Thanks for reading.
