2nd Moniter Issue for Apex

Hey, I have seen others have had a similar problem to this but none of the solutions are working for me. I have just downloaded Apex and have 2 monitors. I have a main 4k 60hz monitor and a 1080p 144hz one. The game defaults to playing in my 4k one which is less than ideal. Is there any specific way to make the 144hz monitor my primary when playing the game (other than going into windows settings and forcing my 144hz to be my primary. As changing back is more hassle than I can be bothered (1st world problems i know). Other games usually have a "monitor 1 or 2" option.

I have tried putting it into borderless and hitting "Windows + Shift + Right" to move the screen to my second monitor, this moves the screen but when I go to hit full screen or "Alt + Enter" it goes back to my 4k monitor. I have also tried disabling my primary monitor then opening the game up with just the 144hz one on but it still retains the settings from the 4k one. It doesn't allow me to change refresh rate and also for whatever reason it doesn't display the whole screen.

Am I missing something here or am I just out of luck?

After restarting my PC and changing settings within Nvidia control panel it finally works. I tried that as well but it didnt work for me. Thanks for taking the time to reply anyway =)
