503-HTTP Search error when adding a friend

Every time I try to add a friend, I get the error code "503-HTTP Search error" I'm on PC (Steam) and my friend plays on Xbox. Is this because we are on different platforms or is something wrong with...

    I don't seem to be getting this issue anymore, the error code went away

It still shows the Not Found message though, been trying to reach out to my friend for so long, I still am
