Abnormal Sensitivity Issue with Controller in APEX
I am experiencing an abnormal sensitivity issue while using a controller in APEX Legends. My in-game sensitivity settings are Linear Curve for response curve, 4 for hip-fire sensitivity, and 3 for ADS sensitivity. During gameplay, I noticed that whenever the cursor appears due to certain actions (such as opening the backpack, opening the map, or holding the button to access death boxes), the controller sensitivity changes. This issue occurs with multiple controllers, including two DualSense controllers and one Xbox controller.
The sensitivity change is difficult to describe precisely, but in in-game terms, it feels like the hip-fire/ADS acceleration becomes abnormally high, and the acceleration ramp-up time is drastically reduced. Additionally, if I accidentally touch the mouse during gameplay, causing an input switch, or if I switch windows, the same issue occurs. However, the sensitivity changes caused by these actions are inconsistent with each other, but none of them match the original sensitivity settings.
The problem is temporarily resolved by unplugging and reconnecting the controller, but this is highly inconvenient during gameplay.
So far, I have tried various troubleshooting methods, including but not limited to:
Reinstalling the game
Switching platforms (from Steam to EA Play)
Reinstalling the operating system
Unfortunately, none of these solutions have resolved the issue, which is why I am reaching out for help on the forum. I have recorded a video demonstrating the problem. If needed, please contact me, and I can provide the video for further clarification.
