Account hacked, Xbox linked without my knowledge, now permanently banned

I’m posting here because I’m completely lost with my situation and I don’t know what to do anymore.
My EA account has existed since 2019 and I have always played normally on PlayStation and PC. I have never used cheats, scripts, external devices, or anything like that.
Recently my account was compromised. During that period, an Xbox account was suddenly linked to my EA account, even though I have never owned or used an Xbox before. This is the first time an Xbox account has ever appeared in my account history.
While my account was compromised, someone played on that Xbox account and apparently used external tools / cheating methods. Shortly after that, my account was banned.
I contacted EA Support and explained that my account had been hacked. After reviewing my case, they removed a previous sanction related to the compromised account, which confirmed that suspicious activity happened while my account was not under my control.
However, shortly after that, my account received another sanction for cheating in Apex Legends. What confuses me is that the sanction history says the penalty should be ranked points deduction, but my Apex Legends access is currently permanently blocked.
So now I’m extremely confused because:
- My account was compromised.
- An Xbox account that is not mine was linked during that period.
- The cheating activity seems to have happened only on that Xbox platform.
- My normal platforms (PlayStation and PC) have completely normal stats and history.
I understand that players are responsible for their accounts, but the logs should clearly show:
- a sudden Xbox link that never existed before,
- gameplay coming from a different platform,
- and activity during the compromised period.
I have tried appealing through EA Support, but every appeal seems to receive the same automated response, so I feel like my case is not being properly reviewed by a real person.
At this point, I’m not trying to avoid responsibility. I just want someone to actually review the account logs and see that the cheating activity happened during the compromised period on a platform I never used.
Does anyone know:
- if there is a way to have a manual review by the Terms of Service team, or
- if there is another way to escalate this case with EA?
I would really appreciate any advice or help because right now I feel completely stuck.
