Sorry to hear someone else had gotten into your account. If you haven't already, please be sure to go through as many of these security steps as possible to help get your account and system back into your control.
After that you'll need to get in touch with our support team to help recover the account itself. As they'll need to discuss private account details, that is not something we can assist with here on the forums.
Since you've mentioned already opening cases, you can resume or check the status of any open cases here.
I would try the chat option rather than email if possible so you can speak with support directly to get this cleared up. If you've been selecting the chat option and haven't been able to connect, make sure you don't have any ad/pop-up blockers enabled that might be preventing the chat window from opening for you.
Beyond that it may also help to try a different browser or use an incognito mode window when going through the steps to open a new case. If you stay signed out while in incognito mode, you'll be prompted to log in but should also have the option to Continue without logging in to move forward with that process.
