I'm really sorry to hear that your account has been compromised. The first thing you should do is make sure the account has been properly re-secured. You can find instructions on how to secure your account here: What to do if your EA Account has been hacked

As the game's content is stored on your EA account, you might be able to recover your progress by linking the Steam account back to the same EA account it was previously linked to. I see you mentioned that you have never unlinked the accounts, however, as the account was compromised, the unlinking might have been done by someone else. To get assistance to relink the accounts, please contact EA Help Support.
