Account was hacked and banned.
My 10+ year old account (notbennyyyy) was hacked and they put in a case file to change emails.
After realizing my account was hacked and banned from Apex Legends I tried disputing it and change email. I was not unable to change email but was able to dispute the ban. Shortly after my whole EA Account was banned. In order to dispute the banned you have to put in your email linked to the account.... THE EMAIL LINKED IS A HACKERS EMAIL..... You can't change emails if your EA Account is banned. you have to dispute it first..... I can't even talk to LIVE CHAT because I can't even get emails from EA.
I have Opened Cases for the account ban but I get nothing....
Note: Account was banned shortly after the case file was opened and approved of from EA Official.....
Like they didn't even ask for 2 Factor Authenticator before approving the email change. The only way I was able to get back in the account was because of 2 Factor Authenticator Code and Account username. With that I was able to login and find out the hacker's email that they used.
This suck when I put 1000+ hours on Apex and take a break from the game and come back to the account hacked and banned shortly after. What's the point of having 2 Factor Authenticator if hackers can bypass it.
I have the 2 Factor Authenticator and Back Up Codes that's useless. At the moment I'm suck in a loop trying to figure it out.

Sorry to hear you've been going in circles trying to find the best way to get this addressed. We aren't able to make the changes here ourselves, but we should be able to get you through to support.
Our support team will certainly be able to check whether an email was changed due to someone else getting into the account like this. Accounts are typically locked down so they can't make further changes or continue accessing the account until we can verify the original owner, so the ban in this case is a good sign.
Try using these specific steps to get a case started. Since you don't have access to the email on that account currently, just be sure to log out of the website or use an incognito mode window and don't sign in. You'll be prompted to log in, but you'll also have the option to Continue without logging in which should help in situations like this one.
You can create a new case and select Game Support > EA Account > I need help with my hacked account, then just be sure to hit that option above and you should have that live chat option so the support team can take a look.
