Want to log out of Apex by unlinking my Steam account, but I'm afraid it will log me out of my other games too.

Community ManagerProgress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress and it will appear to have reset. Progress cannot be moved between different accounts.
If you've played on Switch before, that means your Nintendo account was linked to an EA account at some point. That's the account that would have any progress you had made. If you're trying to access that progress on PC, you'd need to figure out which EA account was linked there and just log into that EA account via Steam or EA app instead.
