Apex causes a black screen PC

Hello lovely people 🙂

Since a few days im getting mostly a black screen when it comes to the step to click something in the Apex lobby. I hear my fans turning the speed up and after a second i get my screen black, i have to do a cold restart on my pc to try it again and again till apex is running. I have tried already a few things to fix this problem, even installed older version of nvidia, i checked this forum if someone else has the same problem, so far i couldnt solve my problem.

My pc is 3 months old, i have a RTX2070, SSD Evo plus, MSi X470 Gaming Pro etc. Apex was running smoothly without any problems on my Pc so far.

Please, if anyone knows a solution or if you need more information, let me know and i will try my best.

    Thanks, I appreciate it! Have you had a chance to try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that helps at all? If there's anything else running alongside the game that may be causing the black screens that may allow us to get around it. 

    For more info on how to set up a Clean Boot check out the EA Help website. Let me know if you're still running into the same black screen issue afterward.

    Thanks for your response! I appreciate it a lot, i figured out my bios is from 12/2018, i hope that this is causing the issue,  i have to buy now an USB stick to be able to update it. Im not sure how long it will take me to get one, when its done i will post again if it helped 🙂

    Do you have again the issue ? My bios is up to date and I have tested same things as you. After 1 game returning to lobby or when I when I want to join a party i have a black screen … help please

    I have installed Apex legend for the third time, and still have the same problem.
    After I run the game, it loads normally till click left mouse button to continue. After a few seconds, the app stops responding and never responds, I waited 5 hours today. 

    I have literally tried all the fixes I could read, none worked, and I am so mad that I am almost crying.

    My PC specs are

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz
    Ram 8 GB
    Graphics Card - Intel HD Graphics 4000

    Need the help very quickly, please...

    @LadySoley The issue was the overclocked RTX 2070, with using afterburn to downclock it, did it work perfectly, i even replaced the graphiccard a few days laters just in case. I hope my solution helps others as well 🙂

    I had the same problem believe it or not, someone told me to turn off UAC and it worked !! for some god damn reason lol
