Apex coins dispute

My son purchased 6 packs of 1k apex legend coins. Microsoft refunded one pack as our 1 per year refund. As a mom that knows nothing of these things, or this draconian refund system, I am amazed that after all this rigmarole, there are still no coins in the game. The consecutive purchasing was because the coins never showed up or indicated the purchase went through, so he kept purchasing thinking it wasn’t working. 
Does anyone know if I fight it with my bank, that will cause my account with EA games to close? And or Microsoft? I will also be asking on Microsoft platform to cover my bases. Any thoughts or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    I sorry to hear that. The coins should come through after the purchase but sometimes it can take up 48 hours to deliver. Other players found restarting the game and console helped the content to appear in-game also. This EA Help article shares more on what do if you're missing any content in Apex like coins: "Missing Apex Legends Coins, Heirloom items, and more". 

    If those options haven't helped the coins to appear in-game, please gather your proof of purchase for the missing Apex Coins and get in touch with EA support.
