Hey lil_magnosaur,
If you're redeeming a code that was purchased elsewhere, have you had a chance to log into Apex on the same platform first? For example, logging in on Xbox rather than PC if it's an Xbox code, just to make sure those are applied correctly before logging into other platforms.
It can also take some time for content to be delivered in certain situations, however if you're still not seeing the coins show up after 24 hours, it would be best to get in touch with support so they can take a look. This page has a few other steps to check depending on where you're getting those coins, and you can create a case here if you've gone through those already without any change.
