APEX coins are missing
I received a redemption code for 4350 APEX coin pack from the SNS giveaways campaign for the professional teams competing at ALGS Sapporo. I redeemed it from the EA App, but it has not been reflected in the game for some time. When I enter the redemption code again, the message "The code has already been used" is displayed. I have sent several emails from EA help about this, but only received an auto-response message back. One week has passed since the code was redeemed (it was exchanged on 30 January). When will it be reflected? This is an independent EA account that is not linked to Cross Progression. Also, as it is a gift project, it is not possible to reissue the code. As it is not a purchase, there is no purchase history. I can send you a screenshot of the DM I received from the team. Would you be willing to deal with this somehow? This thread is not about me, but about my friend who I had been playing apex with since season 2, Alexmansan was his psn profile and he had 2 heirlooms + most battle passes bought from season 5 to season 12 as well as some event skins, when we both switched to PC around season 13, we waited for cross progression to happen to get all of our cosmetics on Steam (where both of us played), and when the CrossProg wave reached us around december 2023, I got all of my cosmetics and everything was smooth, but my friend had issues linking the (f2p) account he already had on pc with his (around 100 euros spent) ps4 one, something went wrong, and he never got his weapon and legend skins back, just the name of the account and 4000 apex coins for whatever reason, this demotivated him completely from coming back to a game he once couldnt stop playing for how much fun he had, because all of his progress from the past 4+ years was seemingly gone. We both took a hiatus from playing, but I still played and enjoyed the game from time to time by myself, until around a week ago, when Alexmansan was playing need for speed 2015, he realized he was using his old ea account linked to his mothers email, which was the same that contained his apex account with cosmetics back in his ps4 (btw he recently tried to log in to his ps4 account and it also had nothing). With hope, yesterday he reinstalled the game just to find a level 4 account with 0 skins or currency this time around, which made him officially give up on getting everything back, which was painful for me to see, since he really wanted to get back to playing the game regularly with all the changes implemented in the last 3 years and he meant it, so im begging for you guys at ea/respawn to help me find out if that account still exists or if I should give apex up as well. I will attach screenshots from both of his new empty accounts and a screenshot of the one we are looking for from a third party tracking website where it still exists. Im contacting you for him because hes not motivated to do anything about it, so I want to help him try to recover it as a friend even if he does not play afterwards. Hopefully someone who can help us sees this post and we can try to see what happened and hopefully find a solution. When I checked my currency before I bought the Loba and Valkyrie skins from the current Lunar event I had over 20000 crafting materials. I never really used them before and was sort of saving them up. After buying the 2 skins totalling to 4800 materials I am left with only 465. EA support confirmed they only see those 2 transactions on my account but said they can't preview my before or after currency status and directed me here. Hello EA Team and Community, I am posting here because I have been unable to find a resolution through standard support channels. I hope that by sharing my situation, a Community Manager or someone with the appropriate expertise can help review my case. Issue Summary I originally purchased the Founder's Pack and Starter Pack through the PlayStation Store. After merging my EA accounts and switching to PC via Steam, I discovered that these items were missing. I contacted EA Support multiple times and provided full proof of purchase, including transaction records. However, I was recently informed that EA’s system can only retrieve data from the past 30 days and that purchases beyond this timeframe cannot be recovered. Concerns 1️⃣ The 30-day investigation limit is unreasonable – Many players, including myself, have purchases from years ago. Limiting data recovery to only 30 days does not seem appropriate, especially when dealing with permanent, account-bound purchases like Founder's Packs. 2️⃣ This policy does not apply to cases like mine – The loss of my purchased content was not due to an issue on my side, but rather caused by EA’s account merge system. I believe there should be a way to verify long-term entitlements and restore missing content in such cases. Request for Assistance 🔹 I kindly ask for a review by a Community Manager or a specialist with access to entitlement records beyond 30 days. 🔹 I would appreciate clarification on whether there are alternative ways to verify and restore missing purchases due to an account merge. 🔹 If possible, I would like confirmation on EA’s data retention policies for purchased content. Hello, a returning player here needing help from a community manager after recommendation from a support agent. I have not played this game in years and was hoping to get back into it. I have an account on Xbox that I have quite a high level, amount of skins, and money put into that I would love to bring over to PC. I launched the game today on PC (again for the first time in years, before cross-progression existed). I received nothing from my Xbox though it brought up that it would link both accounts. I played Apex when it released on console under a different EA account. I have since needed to use a new one. According to the support agent I linked my xbox account to this EA account on Jan 22 2024. I am told that because I linked the account 4 months late. They were unable to transfer anything. So I ask, is there anything that can be done to receive the progression from my xbox account? I have not touched the game since probably middle of 2023 on PC and probably since 2019/20 on console.
