Apex constantly crashes - PS5

I have unfortunately been dealing with this since the end of June. Apex crashes after Champion screen and/or once I load back into game after crashing. The game loads, I get into the character select screen, Champion screen comes up, game crashes. I load back in and it puts me back in the same match I just got kicked out of (if my team didn't hot-drop and die), then I get these weird glitches on screen and the game crashes again.

The first image is the error message I get from PS. Looking up the error code on Sony tells you to try 5 things, which I did all 5. I have done, what I feel, is everything I can possibly do to fix this issue. I have uninstalled & reinstalled. Placed into Safe Mode to Rebuild the Database. Factory Reset the console. Purchased a 2TB SSD card with Heatsink and installed into my PS5 to have Apex downloaded there solely. I am still getting this issue on Apex and Apex alone. I've spoken with someone who works at Respawn who informed me that there is an issue but not enough people having said issue so no fix in sight.

Second image are the weird glitchy gray screens that pop up all over the maps.

I have captured videos of the glitches as well, but this forum does not allow me to send them.

Both images are from roughly a month ago. I've not been able to play on my PS5 in so long that I do not even turn it on. After purchasing the SSD card and Factory Reset not working, I gave up. I've come here for help, if there is ANYONE that can give it to me. I still have my PS4 luckily so I'm able to play, but having my PS5 sitting there and unbale to play is so disheartening. Looking forward to some sort or solution, if there is one.

Usually, those kind of visual glitches are seen on PC and indicate an issue with the graphics drivers.

As you have done a factory reset which reinitialises all console software, you may at this point need to contact PlayStation support to determine if your console needs to be replaced.

Hopefully it is still within warranty.

    Thanks.

  • Thank you, Barry. I will contact Sony again to begin the process. I've contacted them previously and they said if the issue persists, I'd need to send it in to them. The thought though of sending in my new console through the mail for it to be handled without care scares me!
