I am also dealing with this exact issue, I've been able to play other games with no issue. It tends to happen every 40-60 min(so at most 5-6 games) game freezes and then task manager shows r5apex is suspended.
Im on windows 10 22h2, fully up to date on updates and drivers. There is also other users reporting the same issue on windows 11 23h2/24h2, so it seems to be an issue with all windows versions currently.
HOWEVER it didnt happen when i was messing around in firing range for over an hour(had the game open for like 4 hours being in firing range most the time until it would afk kick me) . so im just lost as to why it is happening as firing range is also an online server like normal matches.
I have done as much as I can to remedy the problem aside from reinstalling windows. Looking online, others with the same issue that have reinstalled windows still have the issue persist)
I have seen this issue coming up in a number of different Easy anticheat games
(Apex, rust, and Fortnite; unsure what other eac games, those are just the ones I have seen posts about when ive been looking it up recently, about the past 1-2 months)
I have seen more than once that people are pointing to EAC for causing the issue, claiming its attempting to hook lsass.exe and crashing both. I cant play for more than an hour before my game just freezes and its killing me. also seeing posts on the apex sub also complaining of crashing on console/mostly xbox i believe which is based on windows(I feel like more than usual, so it leads me to believe it is an issue with eac somehow and windows, as i dont think i have seen posts complaining about the same type of crashing on Playstation and i dont think playstation runs off windows)
Hey folks,
Could we please get a DxDiag from each one experiencing the Crash error? I've attached the link with instructions. Thank you all for reporting this.

Hoping this will get fixed soon, as my game has finally been able to get stable 240fps this season, but im just dealing with crashing way too frequently to make me really want to play much. ☹️
Seeing a good number of posts on reddit and other support websites complaining about issues as well. I posted this, and in that post I have other subreddit posts form games that also run Easy anti cheat, and it seems to be an issue thats happening to more than just apex at the moment, as i also linked a Windows update and win 11 known issues that seems to be point to EAC having issues with the latest versions of windows
Hoping for an EAC update soon, as it seems like its an EAC conflict with newer/latest versions of windows, or some direction from devs as to what updates are causing the issues, so users dealing with it, can downgrade to whatever update was last supported.
It doesn't seem to be dependent on an AMD or intel CPU, or AMD or Nvidia GPU either, since ive seen people reporting about the same errors in event viewer on win 10/11, or with any pc build config (AMD CPU+AMD GPU; AMD CPU+Nvidia GPU; Intel CPU+Nvidia GPU)

Resolved My Issue: Step-by-Step Guide
Hey everyone,
After troubleshooting an issue for some time, I was able to resolve it on my own. I understand that this type of problem can be difficult to fix, but with my background, I figured it out. Here's
how I did it:
Resolution Steps:
Disable .NET Framework:
I started by disabling .NET Framework from the optional Windows features, rebooted, then re-enabled it.Delete .dll Files:
I navigated to the System32 folder and carefully deleted every single .dll file in that folder itself (but not any files in subfolders).Run System File Check:
I ran the command sfc /scannow. Although it reported no issues, it was part of the process to ensure the system was intact.Reinstall DirectX:
I downloaded the DirectX web installer online and reinstalled the necessary files to restore missing or corrupted system files.Fix Missing Files:
After reinstalling DirectX, I received some popups indicating missing files. I downloaded each of the missing .dll files, ensuring I chose the 64-bit versions, and moved them into the System32 folder.Install Visual C++ Redistributables:
To ensure no other issues remained, I downloaded and ran the Visual C++ Redistributable Runtime Package (All-in-One).
Additional tool if issues persist (windows process monitor) - here
Good Luck!
By following these steps, I was able to solve the issue. I hope this guide helps you resolve similar problems. Good luck!
