A few patches ago i found out that the footsteps of enemies have been tuned down by a lot , enemies that are running within 5m of me can't even be heard at all. Like the sounds of environment objects have been amplified while the footsteps of enemies have been tuned down. Anyone has this same issue as well?
This is really ridiculous, every game someone appears magically near me and shoots in my face.
Loba with her 9" high heels walking on the roof and i can't even hear her sneaking behind me followed by her full squad.
I think some random streamer complained about this as well.
So after I updated to season 6 everything was fine except for the audio, music and everything is fine except for when I enter a match I cannot hear foot steps and teammate pings, i can only hear the things in front of me (camera direction) that means if someone is behind me or even beside me i cannot hear the footsteps or pings (i can't hear characters voice lines too), and not that only but sometimes if the shooting is behind me i hear it in front of me which is very confusing and stressful to be honest, i cannot play in peace like this...
I'm posting this here to check if i'm the only one with this glitch because I already tried repairing and restarting the game but it didn't work i even tried turning off/on the volume in settings but nothing fixed it ☹️

@HindeanODBDo you still have the issue mate? as I mentioned it never happened to me on previous seasons, just this one... I'm thinking about reinstalling the game but considering my slow internet i'm not very happy about this decision however i tried everything, i cleared game data and temp files, turned off/on the audio, updated my graphics driver, repaired the game, tried different headset and tried without headset too but nothing works, i'm going to be very disappointed if reinstalling doesn't work
@HindeanODBYes I understand. What I wanted to point is that I got a 24h ban (reason: spamming and trolling and no details about the messages that lead to this ban) for writing that EA won't do anything because they like money.
@CubertZ I had to reinstall the game in order to get the season 6 update (because a 10gb update can't install properly ...) and I'm still getting no footsteps. I even had a game today in which I died because a guy was coming from downstairs right after opening a door. Opening a double door that you can hear like it was a nuclear bomb but this time? Nothing. Of course I didn't hear his footsteps even though he was running in the stairs 🙂
