Apex footstep audio tuned down???

A few patches ago i found out that the footsteps of enemies have been tuned down by a lot , enemies that are running within 5m of me can't even be heard at all. Like the sounds of environment objects...

@HindeanODB the problem is it never happened to me before only after updating to season 6 :'( i swear it's so stressful because you're playing with confusion of where the shots are coming from etc, i'm curious if there are audio files for season 6 that i could download or any alternative fix, i hope they help us cuz i really love apex but definitely cannot play in this state...
