I'm still freezing a ton at, on, or just after the hero select screen.

I should note the freezing got really bad when duo mode was initially released. The problem was less frequent but still a few times a night since the release of Season 3 or earlier.
It's just sad that the devs won't even acknowledge that this problem exist

I'm crashing a lot. My CPU usage goes to 100% with this game open alone. During intense fights the game just freezes on me.

100% cpu followed by apex not responding- 5 years ago
I found the problem. It wasn’t an apex legends issue. I had a malicious program or virus on my pc. I had to format my hard drive and reinstall the operating system.
