EAC is a kernel-level anticheat and this new version of it is probably looking for things it doesn't like and then freezes happen.
Has anyone tried disabling CSM support, XMP profile, overclocks, secure boot etc in the bios to see if the freezes still happen?
The people that posted their configs all have Intel CPUs, could this only occur on Intel CPUs?
EDIT:
If you're playing on Steam, try to disable the Steam overlay completely.
@extraholic Im almost 100% this is somehow network related. Ive had the exact same issue since Saturday as OP's original post and only today fixed it by switching to wifi from ethernet, also i have a ryzen 5 5600x so not intel specific.

Have EA actually replied or anything about this issues. It's annoying just sitting here while we all try and figure out what is going on
Like if playing on wifi works for some that's not a solution really is it lol it's just a temp workaround still needs investigating
