Apex unable to connect to ea servers
So I downloaded apex through my steam... loaded it up and it ran just fine
I had realised this wasn't the account with all my stuff and progress on (my main was linked to my xbox).
Logically next I logged into the EA account that was linked to my steam and unlinked it...
Then logged into the EA account linked to my xbox and linked my steam
Sorry if I'm saying this in a long winded way
So now my steam is linked to EA account with my xbox
I go to open the game I hit LMB to enter and I see "Unable to connect to EA Servers. Please check your Internet connection and try again. See <some url here>"
and also all data centres are -1 ping 100% packet loss
Steps I have tried already to resolve it:
Verified game files in steam.
Rerunning setup for EasyAntiCheat in Apex Legends game folder
Flushed dns of my computer and restarted
Changed my dns to google dns from my own router one
Cleared platform cache on steam
Tried a different wifi connection
And I have deleted apex from steam... Downloaded EA App logged into the correct account (one that is linked to both steam and xbox) and reinstalled apex
And nothing has changed anything I'm still stuck at the same message
what is so peculiar about it... is that I had it working just fine before I unlinked it
