Apex freezes Xbox Series X

I’ve been playing Apex on my Xbox One X and just bought a new Xbox Series X. After downloading and starting up Apex on the new console, I Apex makes it to the game lobby but nothing renders and the game freezes. Music keeps playing but I can’t select anything.
The Xbox also freezes and I can’t bring up the slide menu; the sound is made that it opens but it doesn’t, after I hit ‘A’ as it would go to home and the console freezes and eventually crashes to the Home Screen.

Things I’ve tried:

1. Hard Reset console
2. Clearing any saved game data
3. Uninstalling Apex and reinstalling
4. Resetting the Xbox from scratch and starting as a new Xbox (not from backup of my other Xbox)
5. Removing account from Xbox and adding account back
6. Logging into Xbox with a different account

Any ideas of how I can play Apex again? Because as it is now, I can’t even get in a game let alone customize my character. I haven’t tried on my old console yet but I will.
