Apex Game 0x887A0006 crash

My APEX client has been frequently crashing after playing for a while recently, with error report 0x887A0006. I have tried almost all the methods on the internet, but none of them worked. I have also reinstalled the Windows system, and replaced the memory and graphics card. Attached are my DXD report and screenshots.

No driver is stable right now, at least for me. I've tried almost all of them, starting from 566.36 until this most recent one. Some drivers are better than others, letting me play a full game, but crash multiple times in the next one. This is something Apex needs to notify Nvidia so that they can address it in a new driver update.

  • Came back to play Apex again after a hiatus, only to have the game crash basically ever single match (and multiple times in one match). This is the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED 0x887A0006 error. I've looked up this error online, which dates back to when the game first came out on PC, and there is no reliable fix. I've tried all the best possible fixes, including using DDU and installing well known safe/reliable drivers like 566.36, but I crash on all the drivers (I've tried like 25 drivers at this point, old and new). I have a 3060 with no OC and play on the lowest settings. I believe this is a Nvidia driver issue mixed with current Apex problem, since I don't get this error on any other games I play. I also never got this issue before my hiatus, but that was before Apex switched to DX12 from DX11, which I hear makes the game more unstable.  I play on Steam, and the only thing I didn't try yet is playing on the EA app, but I have a feeling I will still crash. I just hope this is being looked into by the team.

This is likely a GPU driver issue. It has been a while since this error popped up on the forums here but the most recent fix I found is to use an older video driver. Try 576.02 as this is reported as helping at the link below.
