Apex: Input latency for the first 10min of the game. Every time I restart my PC.
Hi, I need help for this technical issue I'm experiencing on Apex Legends : Every time my PC restarts my game will experience input latency for at least 10min until the latency decreases and the game stabilize and run normally.
What happens ?
High input latency. For example the mouse won't follow when I move it. When I press a key, the key register 2 seconds later. Let's say I press D to walk to the right : my character will start walking to the right 2 second later, and for 2 seconds. I wont be able to do anything else for these 4 seconds.
The game also start lagging when I enter my inventory (and the mouse pointer appear)
FPS is stable around 50 Frame per second and isn't a problem.
Frame MS is around 10.
My ping is around 20ms.
When does it happen ?
This happens after the matchmaking, after the game has found 60 players. The game runs very smoothly in the menu and the training range, but not in normal or ranked.
This happens for 10 minutes. If I close the game after the game has stabilized (after the 10min) and launch the game again; this bug won't appear again until I turn off my PC.
Why is that a problem ?
Well it's unplayable for 10 minutes and ruin my experience and my teammates.
What I tried but didn't help :
- Reinstalling the game.
- Format the PC
- Updating the drivers
- Change Graphic card.
- Changing CPU Priority class (normal, 3 and 6) for r5apex.exe
- Enabling and Disabling Full-Screen optimizations.
- Changing video settings quality

Problem Solved.
There was 2 technical issues overlapping.
Mouse movement and reactivity solution:
- Setting "Run this program as an administrator" for origin and r5apex.exe
- Disabling some services on start up
- Setting CPU priority class to 6 for r5apex.exe
Delay when landing solution:
- Adding command line arguments in origin launcher : +fps_max (#my average fps) -forcenovsync (My GPU was generating more fps than my CPU could handle. The lags were a result of the CPU throttling in order to reduce it's temperature; later on I changed the thermal paste of my CPU and all problem solved !)
