Apex Keeps Crashing no error, screen locked up forever, not even task manager

same issue. mid game it will crash. last couple of times during a battle. all origin games crashing by the way. wonder if this rtx related.

Gave it another try:
2 matches without any crashes.

Third game....last 2 squads...

Screen locked up, game froze. cant alt tab, cant use task manager, frozen screen is locked up in front of everything. cant do ANYTHING.
Signing out of windows, forcing the frozen game to finally shut down. Log back in.

Thats insane. It literally BREAKS your WHOLE computer session.

Mine loads to the main menu then crashes like yours, the most ive made it to is champ select since the new update, before the patch it use to ruin at a healthy 100 fps for a mid tier pc

Incorrect sir. This game is not "just out" and has had recurring issues with video drivers and crashes since day 1. I am having this same issue with an rtx card

Same problem! RTX 3060 TI. I've just find a way to exit game. I've opened CMD and find the task name for this game. So opened CMD and type: tskill r5apex.exe and press enter (even if you aren't seeing a thing, it must just have CMD as main screen). This is the only way I could close this app. Greetings from Brazil!

Same issue on 1080ti! Only started recently! I’ve got multiple screens so can start task manager but unable to interact with it as it completely locks my desktop:
