APEX keeps freezing whenever my friends joins my party / lobby

Why does my game keeps on freezing whenever my friends joins my lobby / party? Already tried playing trios and quads in solo queue and the game runs smoothly, but whenever I invite friends and they join the lobby, the game immediately freezes. Does anyone have experienced this as well / have a solution? I play on Steam by the way.

Same problem and is triggered by the same reason. The weirdest thing is that although in the task manager the percentage of use of the app does not reach the 100% on any part of my PC the game keeps frozing
