Phantom Inputs/Ghost inputs/Stuck & repeating inputs

I have a persistent phantom input / held-button issue that occurs only in Apex Legends.

i’m using a DualSense Edge through Steams controller OS.

It persists across controller firmware resets, HID (Human Interface Device) reinstalls, cache/config wipes, and GPU driver changes/updates. 

PC SPECS: GPU-RX 7900XT | CPU 7600X3D | Motherboard ASUS B650 PLUS WIFI | Fan Cooled 

My specs are more than powerful enough for it to be a hardware issue, and after a day of playing/troubleshooting this points to the issue being server related or patch related. 

This randomly popped up and became an issue two days ago after the latest Merry Mayhem patch. 

It does not occur in Steam controller tests or other games such as R5 RELOADED,

This strongly indicates profile-side corruption. 

I need my Apex profile input data reset if possible or maybe patch this? 

EDIT: After further troubleshooting and testing i’ve found the issue is Steam + Recent patch related. 
To any Devs reading this or any unlucky soul going through the same problem as me. 

This problem only occurs when using steam OS for controller input/xinput. I tested this by going to native PlayStation controller input vis PlayStation accessories app and the problem has disappeared entirely. 
only when i go back to steam does this issue persist. 

TLDR: Steam Bad use Native.
