Apex Legends account banned - No clear reason given and requesting review

Hello EA community,

 

I would like to ask for advice regarding my Apex Legends account ban.

 

I have been playing Apex Legends since launch. At some point in the past, my account was banned, and because of that I stopped playing the game. After a few years, I decided to return and check my account again, but the ban is still there.

 

I have never used cheats, hacks, scripts, macros, or any other tools to gain an unfair advantage. I am 35 years old and I have no reason to risk losing an account that I have invested time and effort into.

 

The main problem is that I was never given a clear explanation about the reason for the ban. I would like to know what rule was supposedly violated. If the anti-cheat system detected something on my PC, it is possible that a legitimate program was incorrectly identified, and I would like this to be checked.

 

I have already submitted an appeal, but I would appreciate any advice from people who have experienced a similar situation.

 

I am only asking for a fair review and transparency about what happened to my account.

    While this might not be the response you were hoping for, I'm afraid we don't have information on the exact reason for the account action, nor is that information disclosed as a preventive measure against misuse and circumvention. If you feel that an action was placed on your account incorrectly, following these steps to create an appeal as you have is the best way forward. Our Terms of Service team will be able to take another look from there, and they'll have the right tools and records to review this for you.

    If you have any evidence supporting your innocence, please include it in your appeal. In the meantime, feel free to keep an eye on your case history page, and the ToS team will reach out via email once that review is complete. Thanks!
