Re: What to do if your Apex Legends account got banned or suspended

Hello EA Community Managers / ToS Team,

 

My Apex Legends account was permanently banned. I believe this is a false positive — I was only playing the in-game Wildcard Mode (limited-time alternate playlist, not an external tournament), with NO cheats, macros, DMA, or unauthorized software.

 

Details:

The main issue:

When I go to help.ea.com to dispute the ban, there is NO "Submit an appeal / Email us" option — even when logged in. I cannot reach a live chat agent either. I have tried:

- Multiple browsers (Chrome / Edge / Firefox incognito)

- Cleared cache / disabled extensions

- Different networks / mobile hotspot

- "Continue as Guest" on Contact Us

 

None work — the appeal form never appears for my account.

 

Could a CM please escalate this to the ToS team for manual review? I can provide proof of purchase, match history, and Wildcard mode play records upon request.

    This account has over 2000 hours played and owns multiple heirlooms. Being falsely banned is simply unacceptable. Now I can't even reach EA — they banned my account without justification and didn't even provide a reason

    Hey coldwords25​,

    Thanks for the post, sorry to hear it's due to no longer being able to open a case or appeal to have this reviewed again. Looking over the situation however, I do see quite a large number of appeals from this account in the past. These are likely visible on your case history page even if you're unable to create a new appeal currently. 

    To clarify, all appeals are manually reviewed. They may use templates to make sure accurate and consistent information is provided to those in similar situations, but these are reviewed by individual members of our Terms of Service team who will check back through the account and game records to verify what took place. There is a limit to how many appeals can be performed however, and if the ToS team has completed multiple reviews at this point without removing the penalty, I'm afraid that would be final. That would also be why you're no longer able to create appeals - they consider the matter closed at this point due to the extensive reviews that have already taken place.

    I understand you disagree with that outcome, but once the Terms of Service team has completed multiple investigations and declined to remove a penalty, I'm afraid that would be final and not something that can be changed here or through other channels.

    But my alternate account on the same device plays just fine, and it doesn't explain why my main account got banned. I was just using a crit-damage buff in the wildcard mode replicator. This is a wrongful ban caused by your game rules. I've already purchased multiple heirlooms, and if it doesn't work out, I'll go to BBB to complain and protect my account.

    Are you saying that my large account has been banned and I can only play my small account on the same device? I should not be able to play my small account even if I have hung it up. Is that reasonable? Do you think so

    That would really just indicate the activity on one account led to a ban, and activity on the other has not at this point. That's very reasonable, though I understand you still disagree with the results.

    Those results cannot be changed if our Terms of Service team has declined to remove the penalty after multiple appeals, sorry.

    What is the reason for my ban? You can't come up with it either. It's clearly your mistake, why should players bear the responsibility? If I cheat, why can I play another account on the same device 

    EA support team restructuring may affect manual review capacity, I request explicit Tier 2 escalation

    The responses you reviewed for me were all AI human-machine templates, and there was no manual review. If I used cheating software, my account should also be banned

    I don't need you to apologize, and I don't accept it either. I need you to carefully review my account manually. If it's really cheating, please provide a clear log explanation instead of banning it without any evidence
