OP and anyone else affected by this: I would like you to try this out. Kudos to someone from a Reddit post who had the same issue:

To give EasyAntiCheat admin permissions:
1. Locate game files
1a. If you downloaded Apex Legends from Steam, right-click on "Apex Legends" from the Library > click "Manage" > click "Browse local files"
1b. If you downloaded Apex Legends from Origin, open the Origin launcher, click on "Origin" on the top left > click "Application Settings" > "Installs & Saves" > copy the directory shown in the "Game library location" > locate "Apex"
2. There should be a file named "EasyAntiCheat_launcher.exe", right-click that file and click on "Properties". On that window, click on "Compatibility" > click "Run this program as an administrator" > click "Apply"
3. To be really really sure, I also gave admin permissions to the "EasyAntiCheat.exe" file located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat"
To turn off game launcher overlay:
Steam: Click on "Steam" on the top left > click "Settings" > click "In-Game" > uncheck "Enable Steam overlay while in-game" > click "Ok"Origin: Click on "Origin" on the top left > click "Application Settings" > "Origin In-Game" > disable "Enable Origin In-Game"
Hope this helps 🙂 Seems to be doing the trick for me at the moment, haven't had a BSOD ever since I did this.
edit: crossed out Origin because an Origin player two replies below this tried this out and said it didn't work for them
tried these as an origin player and now my game won't even start. highly suggest you not do this but if it works for you then great.

@Vell51rusI think the r5apex.exe file is fine as is, so you don't have to worry about it, but if you want to, then go ahead 🙂
@FattyscoI would like to know why. I tried what the Redditor did and it also worked for me. I wouldn't have shared this if it didn't, and I would feel bad for others who have the same issue but still don't have some kind of resolution to why this issue even exists in the first place. I trusted another anticheat for an FPS game to run in my PC all the time, because the moment I have to turn that off, I would've forced myself to restart my PC if I ever wanted to play that FPS game. That's why I didn't mind giving EAC admin perms just so I could run Apex without fearing for a BSOD. Just wanted to help, that's all.
@endeeeeeeeAs a Steam player, I'm sorry it didn't work for you. Just edited my response. I just wish Respawn actually addresses this asap...
