Apex legends bug on steam deck after season 21 update

Just downloaded the update on May 7th around 130pm , on the steam deck. I verified the files to make sure they downloaded correctly, and I restarted my steam deck, but it opens okay then gets the lo...

Same behavior here, but on desktop Linux. Looks like Apex's EAC is broken for all Linux systems.

@jack_of_hertz This is not an issue with EAC- it is an issue with some new signature verification function in the game. Respawn did not do sufficient testing to ensure that it works on linux as of late.

  @Arya-Furry_Trash I agree with your clarification, the details on the proton github issue are interesting for sure. I'm just too used to it being EAC deployments breaking.
  
  Respawn, if you read this, please at least try to launch new builds on Steam Deck just once before you deploy them. It's always sad to see Apex Legends at the top of Steam Deck: Verified lists when it reliably stops working each new season launch.

    @jack_of_hertz Yes I agree personally got my steam deck last January and when season 20 came out I didnt have no issues but now I am this season this ban wave really is unfair since I cannot use my gaming laptop to play rn since im travelling with a 230V inverter which my laptop is household electric needing 240V so I cant play on it.
