90% sure it's not a hardware related problem!
Swoosh, did you buy a battlefield 3 russian key at the launch time maybe? The user Guy is russian, and I have a semblance of memory that I bought a russian key at that time.
At moment I only encountered this trouble with my first account where I've other games, I've never have this issue with 2nd account (this one has no other games than apex). Would be useful know if 2nd/other accounts are same vulnerable (and the case wanted that this never happened) or this issue is limited to our main accounts (and one of their elements).
@EA_DavidI just right clicked on the Origin icon in the System Tray and then launched Apex from there and it worked! I'm not sure what or how it happened but thank you so much! The game is running as fine as ever!

I launch it always in that way. I think that simply the cooldown is finished, and you can potentially encounter the issue again in future.

I can launch from taskbar, origin client and desktop icon too, when the issue is not present. I can't launch anywhere when the issue is on. If you read the first post you can understand better. I suspect that when other players invite me in game (and I allowed invite notifications) the risk is bigger.
Crash still exist, was just a lucky timeframe .......... common EA plz fix this!
I have the same problem too. I changed my pc's hardware, and since I installed it all over again, the game doesn't start anymore.
So, I can start Apex without any problem on my PC with my account.
As soon as I logged in with my friends account (Sw00shBoy_Q) for testing, the game closed immediately after starting. Every time.

I don't have any russian keys or anything on my account and it still occures. A friend of mine, who has the same issue, and i have installed a visual c++ SDK for development. (That's the only similarity our systems have). Are you per chance running any development version of visual c or directx?
edit: i actually really think this might be an account issue. I would have thought that maybe it might also be related to networking (hopping across data centers the server doesn't like). But since people tried different machines and networks - it's unlikely.
No, I don't have development version of these components. I think it's not networking issue, cause in my country the principal internet provider (and others too), avoiding the rules (already conamned for this) imposed to use their routers for all customers. So, almost all players of my country use the 3, max 4 different routers the provider provides (I've one provider's branded, producted by technicolor). All routers use same configuration (that you can't change). Here we're writing from different countries, so i doubt about a networking configuration that we share.
The error happened today again - i asked my brother (who lives in a different state) if i can try his account... and it worked. I'm 99% sure it's account related. My brother couldn't login with my account.
Yeah, since the time i compiled this post the only way to play for me is having a second account, to use during the "unavaible time" of the first : \. Luckly never happened this trouble with 2nd too, but since the game is free you can make 3rd etc. (i don't know if is allowed, but atm this is the solution). Certainly, I did not buy the battlepass cause half levels I was achieving on 2nd account : \

If someone of your friends playing Battlefield or Jedi Fallen Order. That can be the issue. Try to remove them from FL and try again.

I've been struggling with this error for the past 5 days, tried everything and only your solution or the 24hours wait worked.
Will try another time if it does the same bug, just to see if it was timing.

I have no idea how those things are connected, but as soon as I removed a person playing Fallen Order from my friends, I was instantly able to start Apex.
Previous 5 or so attempts were unsuccessful.
What some are seeing when not allowed to log in due to client being ran already. This is my post earlier i made. The anti cheat even if you close origin etc all together is still running. You have to open task manager clear the anti cheat task reload into game. Why this is happening no clue but works for me every time.
