Apex legends crashing mid game

Your Phenom doesn't support SSE4.1, and EA responded saying they're not planning on making a fix for it ☹️

My games have also been crashing at random points. I've tried going fullscreen, clearing the cache, resetting my router, and messing with the cloud saves. None of these have fixed my problem.

crashing to desktop frequently, have updated drivers.

tried all different settings, nothing stops the crashes

was this like a amdihk.32.dll or amdihk.64.dll error?? i had the same and reinstalled windows, no longer get the error but still crash mid game

I have the same problem. At some random point in the game, it will freeze for 4-5 seconds and then crash to desktop with no error messages. It happens on average about once an hour, and it's kind of ridiculous. Almost always happens while in a match.
CPU: i5-4690K
GPU: Radeon R9 390
RAM: 16 GB
Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've updated drivers, I've changed the graphics settings, nothing changes it.
It's a good thing this game is free or I'd be pretty upset right about now. 

Same here. Crashes mid game with freeze for couple seconds and than just shuts down without error message!

Problem seems to be solved for me, somehow unistalling discord and installing it again solved my crash problems, hope it works for you 2

If you have an anti-virus of any kind make sure that origin and the game is added to the exception list. Very rarely they will kill the application without notifying users. It may be how easy anti-cheat operates in memory and kills it out of suspicion. I have 'trend Micro' for reference and have had no crashing issues at all since I did this.
