There is slight mouse input lag but better than crashing, right? Seems like if your gpu gets stressed it crashes. It hasn't crashed in like 10 long games so far.
Try capping your fps to 75 or 90 with GameTime.MaxVariableFps 75 or I dont know, I'm out of ideas.
I have so far had luck with using a fairly low graphics setting. I think you're right that if the GPU starts to get maxed that it ends up crashing the game. Thus things like an FPS cap and lower graphics seems to help .I haven't tested enough to confirm yet but it at least seems slightly more stable.
Trying that right now, last 4 matches I got 4 crashes, simply unplayable. Ill be right back after some more matches to reply to this.
- Hi I was just wondering in order to cap your fps in origin you need to turn on vsync but im not sure how to do it can you explain
3 PCs in the house.
All latest win10 and are 100% stable in all latest games 3tb worth on each pc.
Amd gpu's are running the latest optional that supports apex
I7 7700
8gb DDR4
MSI mboard
RX580 overclocked
- no issues
I5 7600
8gb ddr4
7970
- frequent crashes
- swapping to the rx580 makes no difference. Seems to be cpu related as it's the same mboard as the 7700.
Another is an older 4th gen i5.
Gtx 960
- no issues but has issues every now and again sitting on the loading screen for an excessive amount of timeLowered all my settings to the minimum possible and it still crashed. Every single game for the last 5 matches.
- me too idk what to do anymore. my 2 best friends are enjoying the best game to come out in months while im sitting on the sidelines ☹️
Same problem ,(
- There is a vsync option in game, but you can also paste GameTime.MaxVariableFps 75 in origin
Yeah it happens about every third game for me. I'll probably wait until it's fixed to keep playing. I feel bad "leaving" a third of the people that get stuck with me lol.
I noticed that even though I have 8GB of vram on my RX580, the game has a warning message saying something about my streaming rate is set too high. The warning stays there unless I set it to 0. Haven't tried playing the game with it set to 0 though.Yeah I seem to be crashing out every 5-10 games always at some point during the launch stage at the beginning of a match.
CPU always spiked to 100% whenever it happens.
i5-2500K OC'd to 4.5GHz
AMD R9 390 8GB
Game runs buttery smooth on high when it works. But this is getting frustrating and I feel bad for my squad each time.
No error message, just straight crash to desktop
Edit: On latest 19.2.1 drivers
