Ok anecdotal, but I tried disabling my second monitor and so far so good. Will update if I crash again.
Playing in fullscreen mode, with origin overlay off.

Edit: Still crashed after launching from the ship about 6 games in ☹️
Guys Try to Disable / Off your Notification In Origins. My friend told me the notification sound can cause crashes of the game.
Go to your Origins Launcher > Click Origin (You can see it in Upper Left) > Application Settings > Sound.
Have fun!
So I actually updated every driver that I could possibly think of and now the crashes are happening less for some reason, I have no idea which driver fixed it, so you guys might want to give it a try maybe.
this worked for me!
I was also able to fix the crashing by changing the .exe compatibility settings to launch in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. Perhaps unrelated but I also had a Windows feature update pending to version 1809.
Have played for well over 10 games now with no crashes, was previously crashing once every 1-2 games.

Same here its pretty random but I feel like something triggers the game to stop responding. I can play for like 6 hours straight no problem then boom randomly freezes stops responding.

I'm having the same problem. Sometimes I can play for a whole game, sometimes it crashes after only a few minutes. No error message or anything, I just get a pause, then it resumes for a few seconds and then goes to the desktop. The game just disappears. Really frustrating. i7 3770k, GTX 1080 Nvidia drivers updated.
I can depend on APEX to crash after a couple of games if not before the first game. The crashes happen in menu, while loading, during gameplay, after gameplay. Basically the game can crash at any moment and zero error reports pop up. PUBG is more reliable than this game, and that statement means something.
