My friend has a problem with his apex legends startup. It used to work fine but now when he opens it up, firstly he gets the message:

The application failed to start properly (0xc0000142). Click (OK) to close the application.

and then

untrusted system file (C:WIndow System 32 combase.dll)

all drivers/systems are up to date

  i think you're supposed to update your windows
  but if it's already up to date then i don't know
