I installed Apex Legends a few days ago and it worked just fine, but since last night this error pops up :The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). After that I get a notification from Easy Anti Cheat saying something about a file called winhttp.dll , and that it's not a trusted system file . But before that I also got one saying that normaliz.dll is not a trusted system file , and I think it has to do with file corruption. It happened on other games secured by Easy Anti Cheat. I tried a lot of methods to solve the problem such as a sfc scan , something to do with crypto graphic services and stopping them then turning them on again , clearing Origin's game cache , reinstalling the game or pressing right click on it in Origins and clicking "Repair" , but they all lead to another problem and do nothing. Does anyone know how to permanently stop it ?

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @LucianN5.
Can I ask what version of Windows you are using? Can you try going ahead and ensuring that your OS is fully up to date and running the latest version of the OS.Let me know if it makes a differnce.

Windows 10 freshly installed last week , all updates are installed. I also tried installing the redist packages left in the game's folder , though I had them installed already and repairing them didn't work.
