Apex Legends FPS Drop coupled with poor audio

Laptop specs:

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming

1050 GTX TI

i7-7700 core

16GB RAM

Frequently in games the FPS crawls to about 5-8FPS and the audio is grainy and laggy (very robotic) at the same time. When this happen it can usually lasts anywhere between 5-20 seconds.

The two overlapping squares occasionally shows up when this happens but not every time.

Is there a reason for this occurence?
