Hey @EA_Atic
so it's been a month now and in meantime I tried to fix everything as good as possible.
All drivers updated, lowest graphic settings, high performance windows settings, etc..
I upgraded from 1060 Strix oc to 2060 super OC and it got much better in general.
BUT on many spots of the map my frames keep dropping from 140 down to 90 as mentioned above for example in Capitol City.
It can't just be me. It has to be the new textures and overall really good looking but not well working map.
I tried switching screens from WQHD to Full HD, didn't even make a difference..
I'd like to give you good feedback but nothing changed.
I really like apex but I don't wanna play it like that..
Hopefully someone can help
Hey @NYK3Z
A 1060 isn't strong enough to run Apex on 1440p.
However, a 2060 should be able to run this at 60 frames/sec.
Capitol city is a know performance dropping area but the following steps should be able to reduce the fps drops.
- Open Origin, click on the top bar View.
- Now open Game library and click on Apex Legends.
- Here you will find settings when you press that click on Game Properties.
- Go to Advanced Launch Options.
- Now click on the text box below Command Line Arguments:
- Type here: -refresh X and +fps_max X
Depending on the refresh rate of your monitor you have to change the X
Most monitors have a 60 - 120 or 144 Hz refresh rate.
Example for a 144Hz monitor:
Let me know if that solved the framerate issue.

Hey @0econavi
Can you follow my reduced FPS troubleshooting steps linked below?
Let me know if that fixed the issue.
