Apex Legends freeze & disconnects since update

Question

Hi, I've been playing since late season 9, and in the new update. Apex has been disconnecting me from my first 2-5 matches, as SOON as it begins, in the middle of the match, and is horribly laggy for 10 minutes when I come back in from disconnecting. It'll smooth out, but if I change game modes it happens all over again. It's not my internet because this has been happening since the update and I've tried everything I can when it comes to fixing it.

The game is still playable but if this keeps happening every time I start the game & switch modes. I may just lessen how much I play or drop off entirely even though I just got to level 100. I really love this game but I don't know what to do. My username is Nogeebee

Which platform are you playing on? Have you been getting any specific error messages when it happens? If so, what's the full error you've been seeing?&nbsp;

I play on PC, specifically on my laptop but it's been running the game perfectly fine with little to no lag depending on the server before the update. But ever since the update a month ago, it's been constant code:net and code:wheel. I'm guessing it's not my wifi since I've never had this problems before and it's pretty smooth usually...
