Apex Legends hangs on black screen with red logo

Can't seem to run the game. Used to be working but suddenly stopped and hangs at the black screen with red gif logo, and the program becomes "not responding".

Tried repairing, changing language, reinstalling apex, reinstalling origin, updating nvidia drivers, repairing easy anti-cheat.

Specs:

i9-9900k

MSI MPG Z390 PRO CARBON

16GB (2x8GB) TRIDENT Z RGB RAM

MSI RTX 2070 GAMING X

    Sorry to hear that you are having an issue @orochiiy.


    Best thing to do is try disabling your anti-virus and firewall and launch the game.

    If it works you just need to add an exception for the game and Origin to both, if not then let me know and we will take it from there.

    Removing -novid in game launch option could fix it.

    Hey, having the same problem as OP here, tried to disable the Firewall and Anti-Virus but it doesn't help.

    Remove -novid -dev from advanced Startup settings or in your autoexec.cfg
