Apex Legends having less fps after recent patch

After the recent game patch my fps droped about 30fps. Prepatch I used having 80fps on dropship now 50fps, same thing goes for bigger towns and gunfights.

    Hey everyone, make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date. 
     
    You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Apex and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.
     
    If you could upload a dxdiag would be super helpful. 🙂

    Hey guys, with this new big patch update my game massively drops FPS from 60 to 1-2 every few minutes or so. It lasts for like 10-15 seconds and then it jumps back to 60 fps. I also noticed one small red square connected to other 3 squares in top right corner. It happens every few minutes. Any idea what those squares mean? Or what might be causing this

    Previously had no FPS or performance issues. Post patch the game is nearly unplayable due to FPS drops and stuttering when anything is on screen. (weapons, players, etc..) Dxdiag attached.
