I've been having problems with crashing since launch. Every single fix recommended has only been a temporary bandaid and then it's right back into crash mania. Sometimes I'll go 10 games without a crash, sometimes it'll be every game. I can assure you that if you have a recommended fix, it won't do anything to solve my problem. "Turn on VSync" works for a few games, then it's back to Hell. "Lower CPU usage" works for a few games, then it's back to Hell.
Each time, save for the rare instance I get an errorless crash-to-desktop, the game stutters and halts, and gives me the error "The instruction at <POINTER> referenced memory at <POINTER>. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program." Each time, the pointer names are different, but the result is the same-- the game is nearly unplayable for long stretches of time because many games will end prematurely.
Sometimes it's associated with a spike in CPU usage, sometimes it's not a noticeable spike. It happens far more often in the drop phase, but it can happen any time during the game.
Specs:
Windows 7 64bit
Intel Core i3-6100 CPU @ 3.70GHz
8GB ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
(Worth noting I've seen this problem elsewhere on the forums since launch, and yet it's apparently gone ignored or blamed on the user. If I have to race around trying to find solutions that temporarily fix a game-breaking problem plaguing lots of people, the fault isn't on me.)
"Try this quick fix!" the well-meaning say,
Works for a bit, then crash within the day.

I will give that a go tomorrow since it seems to land more in the ballpark of getting to the core of the problem. Here's hoping, thanks.

I tried this solution and all i got was game started to lag ALOT after doing this and i still received memory error none the less. I also tried to add folder to regedit to make CPU priority 3 but this made my mouse lag ingame. I played in three player premade and all of us got memory error one after another making this game literally unplayable, also in soloque 10 peoples disappear instantly when game starts or during the game. Instead of fixing balloon bug that was actually cool ingame feature and making even worse bug instead they should honestly focus on this issue first 100% of the time to give players normal gaming experience without having leavers every single game. This issue is not some * that you need to start ruining your computers performance up for, its something EA is too lazy to fix and we just gotta wait till they figure it out or give statement of that never happening and moving to other games.

...Looks like I won't be trying out that 'solution' after all, then. Thanks for the info.

"Oh, this fix worked for me!"
1 day passes
"Actually, it didn't..."
The game is broken.
It's been the same story for me every time. I'll make a drastic change, like playing without Discord or playing with minimum settings or playing with VSync on or playing with nothing else open, and it'll work for long enough that I start thinking it's working! Then suddenly it starts crashing again, even more frequently.
Stop recommending fixes that are not going to fix the problem directly.

I'm sorry, but your CPU is below the minimum specifications to run the game. While you might be able to load it up and jump in, we cannot guarantee you'll be able to play smoothly without errors.

I'll admit, my CPU is a hair below minimum. But as other folks are saying, CPU doesn't seem to matter here-- you can have any CPU and if you're running Win7, this issue will crop up.
