Hopefully this will help some of the people having issues- try turning down your RAM used by the game. Or, the thing I did to fix it was turning off the fps unlocker and setting vsync to adaptive. I had set the fps to unlock with +fps_max unlimited which I set by going to Game Library > Apex Legends > Settings(gear) > Game Propterties > Advanced launch options > Command line arguments : +fps_max unlimited before having crash issues. Obviously, without a cap I used too much RAM than my cap I had set for fps in-game (4GB RAM). I decided to set it at 144, like so: +fps_max 144 . After changing it, my game runs fine. I have a geforce 1060 ti with 16GB RAM, so 144 is fine. For those with worse specs, try setting it to something like 90 or 60.
m0rtalityy suggestion worked for me.
